Correct^

I only use organic virgin coconut oil that's been certified organic by another source other than the USDA.

This article couldn't be more correct. It's all about choices for coconut oil. Coconut oil has amazing properties for health and fitness. It boosts energy and endurance, enhancing physical and athletic performance. It improves digestion and absorption of other nutrients including vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.

Sounds great, B! I'd like to try it - how do you use it? Is it like a pre-shampooing treatment, or ... ?

I see all of the benefits of coconut oil but my question is... Which brand is the best to use?

The best brands to buy are the one that is 100% organic AND unrefined. I'll show you a few links to brands I've used:

In my own hair I use it as a pre-shampoo treatment. My daughter though, she needs to have a moisturizer on her hair at all times (She's mixed white/black) so this is perfect for that! I rub it in her hair after we wash it and then I will use a little bit (like a pomade)each morning when I comb it.

Did you get virgin coconut oil, Cheers? It's the stuff that smells and tastes coconutty. The regular coconut oil is pretty well odorless and flavourless.
