Going through some old archives and thought this was hilarious. Bashar predicting 9/11 in a 1998 Session:

phpBB [video]
"When I became," said he, "the becoming became.
I have become the becoming.
I am one seeing myself, divided.
I am two and four and eight.
I am the universe in diversity.
I am my transformations.
This is my coming together.
Here are my selves become one."

But here it is convenient that you know, that as by natural virtues we collect natural virtues, so by abstracted, mathematical, and celestial, we receive celestial virtues, as motion, life, sense, speech, soothsaying, and divination, even in matter less disposed, as that which is not made by nature, but only by art.

"Once, years ago, when I first talked about buying the Golden Dawn copyrights from the Aries Press, another occult writer made a statement to the effect that no one could "own" this knowledge -for it all came originally from God! I think that concept describes exactly what we are dealing with: true Spiritual Technology, Treat it as such!"

Foreword to the The Golden Dawn by Israel Regardie

I can personally vouch for the efficacy of the Golden Dawn rites and ceremonies, and having spent years trying to figure out (unsuccessfully) how Macgregor Mathers, Woodman and Wynn Westcott could have created them, I can safely say that the above quotation is by far the best explanation.

Iamblichus‘s distinction between theurgy and theology is crucial for understanding his Platonism. For theology was merely logos, a "discourse about the gods," and however exalted, it remained a human activity, as did philosophy. Theurgy, on the other hand, was theion ergon, a "work of the gods" capable of transforming man to a divine status.

A creative mind...is a terrible thing to waste. Love doesn't exist, it is only emotions...lust and financial stability, is all love is...that's what female, what women think love is. Stop falling in love with these chicks out here man. Let your love go, make more money and they'll fall in love with you.Let them fall in love with you. How brilliant you're! how smart and intelligent you're! if you ain't got looks... you got money! How rich you're! Something they're going to love about you. Not you love about them! You'll become rich and successful and they'll say 'i love you', you say 'oh okay... you love me? thats cool, that's fine', i'm not going to say I love you back, because I don't love you, I LOVE ME! AND YOU LOVE ME! you see a picture, how brilliant that is...If you have a mind frame that only you can fall in love with yourself you can never be gotten.

great video here...
...this world is only play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting among you, and rivalry in respect of wealth and children, as the likeness of vegetation after rain, thereof the growth is pleasing to the tiller; afterwards it dries up and you see it turning yellow; then it becomes straw. ^ Having women issues Mani?.

On a more related note, I agree with the premise for the most part (what I gauged from the 2 mins, anyway), though there is love in the sense of a integral and functioning partnership to the benefit of both. The issue with the majority is that one who is attracted to another is actually attracted to disowned aspects of Self/Shadow personas (due to fear), which is then projected outwards as those traits which they fear are deemed powerful. If we work on those areas through inner work (or 'loving yourself'/acceptance of Self), you're much more likely to attract a similarly balanced entity. The context that individual is operating in is somewhat limited though, imo.

Came across this last night. They have some good ideas:

Insisted upon by all the eminent Theurgists of past time as being of equal importance with practical work, and as a radical necessity giving precedence to that work, the august Philosophy which underlies the theory and technique of Magic is a prerequisite to any further discussion. Indeed there can hardly be a real understanding of the rationale of Magic, and certainly no realization of the complexities taking place within and without the constitution of the Magician, if the corner stone of philosophy is not firmly laid in his mind.
