How do you feel about the Vigilant Forums eventually closing down?

I was expecting this. Thanks for the service the past couple of years.

I will be disappointed, but understand. It's been a good ride while it lasted.

You're right and I can't figure out why people would put themselves through that again. Consider also that it's time wasted not really accomplishing anything. Talk about being caught up.

As long as the paid piper keeps playing, I suppose...

I wonder if the former manipulators will have anything to do with it this time around.

Every so often i reminisce on the stress they caused, it was hell, hugging on my momma through a jail cell.

In all seriousness though, that was some grand f***** manipulating. Turned the entire board on its head first time around. Even got to me.

Lol. Not to worry, will have a back up of the site preserved at the time it's closed so that should it need to be reopened we have a good base to start from.

And thanks for the kind words Dac, and everyone else - It's been a pleasure.

Will probably close doors in a few weeks or so. I would suggest everyone get the contact details of anyone they care about on the site.

But omg :Crybaby:

And...

I guess it's been long enough that Vig has forgotten the pain of all former forums,

and the lure of expanding his Vigilant Empire is calling again.

That's funny.

not sure if I should vote A or B....

I remember the original VC sponsored forum, and it was thriving. I had hoped this one would grow large and it may have been my online "home base". But it's not the firs time a forum or game has closed on me.

I was able to learn and absorb much here.

One place for combatting disinformation, and the reason I showed up today, is the new beta search engine by Mike Adams. If you ask me, the number one best way to get back at the mainstream is to stop eating it's food.
