Wow. My response was originally going to be that I love bananas, but my latex allergy has gotten worse since I've gotten older, so bananas son't love me. But watching this trailer makes me wonder if its residual chemical that causes the reaction, because It's only bananas and straight up latex that screw with me, not avocados (yet, hopefully). Damn!

You have covered just about everything to know about banana. Nice post. I’ll just add some least known facts about banana.

#1 Did you know that Americans consume more bananas than oranges and apples combined? And that Ugandans eat an average of 500 pounds of banana per person, per year?
#2 Banana plant is a large herb and that banana fruit actually grows from a ground stem created by a root structure. Not from a tree.
#3 There are three natural sugars in bananas, sucrose, fructose and glucose, this is why eating one will give an instant and sustained boost of energy.
